Script Usage Policy

Weblogix provides fast and flexible hosting servers that support the latest scripting technologies, such as CGI and PHP. Due to the additional system resources that these scripts do require, certain restrictions are made to ensure that the performance levels of our servers are not affected by any cpu intensive scripts.

All scripts that are uploaded to our servers must occupy low system resources and must not consume a large amount of processor power and memory.

All scripts must execute within a reasonable time frame and must be not lock up any of the servers resources during the process.

Any scripts that are found to violate any of the terms outlined in this policy will be terminated, and the hosting account will be suspended until the account owner has been contacted. Any scripts that may cause harm to our servers, or any remote server, are subject to immediate account termination without a refund.

To ensure fairness amongst all Weblogix customers, we must imply a strict policy to make sure all our customers have access to an equal amount of resources. If one, or a few, users occupy a large amount of resources, many of the other users will be affected. If your site relies on such resource-intensive scripts, we recommend that you look into our dedicated server packages, as the resources are not shared but dedicated.
